This set of eight cast aluminum pistons pairs a 4.075" bore with 16.5:1 compression. Mahle uses a revised crown, a performance bowl and coated skirts. The crowns have 0.075" deep valve pockets. Compression height is reduced by 0.010". The catalog compression ratio assumes 0.012" piston protrusion and a 0.037" x 4.115" head gasket.
