The PowerHouse L83 5.3L DOD/AFM Delete Kit is designed to eliminate the Displacement on Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) system in your LT engine, providing improved performance and reliability. This kit is ideal for those looking to enhance their vehicle’s power output and avoid the common issues associated with DOD/AFM systems.
The DOD system in LT engines aims to improve fuel efficiency by deactivating half of the engine’s cylinders during light load conditions. However, it introduces complexity and potential reliability issues, such as increased oil consumption, uneven engine wear, and higher maintenance costs. The system can also negatively impact performance, particularly in high-performance applications, and limits the types of modifications that can be made. The PowerHouse DOD/AFM delete kit enhances your engines reliability, performance, and longevity.

Returns must include a Return Authorization Number (RA #) and be shipped with tracking. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
